Sadly for G24 myself and Moopere especially, we have been unable to fill the fourth spot for our battle this Sunday morning 930 GMT.

I hope this pacific zone HB battle is not dead, we can leave this open for sometime without any problems, so if somebody else shows an interest in this day and time slot in the future, Marengo part 3 can rise again ;)

Don't worry about it DJ. I appreciate you trying hard to bring in the weird timezone people but I really think we're too thin on the ground for it to work. I'm in favour of changing the time for this game to something sensible for central europe. So long as its not in the middle of the night or 5am in the morning on a workday I'll try hard to participate.

Cheers, M.

OK moopere, you seem to be around mid afternoon GMT on most days ?
What about a Monday afternoon at 1500 GMT ??
Are you now 7 hrs + ?? making that 2200 where you are ?

I'm at +0800GMT Its a really difficult problem, but I'm getting used to it. Just arrange as you normally would for ppl in 'normal' timezones, if the time will suit I'll most definitely shoot my hand up.

M.

The thing is Moopere, we have had our preferred timezone marengo battle,
Battle no 3's proposal was specifically put forward to give yourself and Primechoas a chance to join in the HB experience :D

So with PC not being around much of late basically its what suits you thats important,
I myself didn't take part in the first Marengo battle so I'm keen for a go,
G24 missed the earlier battle to, and although hes maybe not as keen on CB and NTW now we have ETW, he did put his name forward for our proposed Sunday battle. (time to reassure us you are still happy to take part please G24 :D )

Looks like we are pretty solid on 3 players so if you can propose a date and time we can look for number 4. :D

Cheers DJ ;)

I'll give it a crack but I'm more than a little worried that the battle is going to be too long for me with the CTD after 45 minutes, but maybe if Dougie host's it I'll survive long enough.

tbh I'd rather see this idea done in Empire now, but we don't have a stable mod yet to do it.....one day maybe.

Yep its a bit dodgy for sure, but maybe worth a gamble, although the marengo map is not really set up for quick games :D

Yes i agree G24 although to really do it justice, in my eyes we would need NTW3 with all its historical units.
;)

Yes, I understand and do really appreciate the effort put in. It just seems that there are too few gamers in the southern Ocean region :)

My availability is still pretty current as per here:

http://corps-battles.wikispaces.com/player+timezones

The general rule of thumb for me is Friday evenings 1200->1500GMT or Saturday 0100-> 1500GMT or Sunday 0100->1200GMT. Pulling a date out of the air .. 18th July? I'm really flexible around that date though, so lets see how others feel.

Regards, Moo.
