Quote: i also drop sometimes but i do not say "i have to go" in the middle of the game No one has told me this has happened, clearly if this does happen that that person would lose the game, that is clear. Murat, I hope you will change your mind on this, if there is a person you don't get on with by all means avoid that person, but that is no reason to leave NBC. You need to know I am limited in what I can do about these things, if one person tells me one thing and another tells me something else, how can I know which is right. I have tried to "warn" people without getting to nasty about it, there is a new rule in place if the problem contuniues and it will be enforced if it's needed. Please continue your membership with NBC but if you really do wish to leave please confirm that here and I will change you to a normal member. If there is no reply to this topic in a day or two I will assume you have left NBC, in which case I'm sorry to see you lever over such a matter. ps- If we keep getting these kind of problems the NBL will be shut down. If people are unable to enjoy some competition without stuff like this happening then there will be no competirion to enjoy - someone else can do all the work that's needed.

My reasons for leaving are technical problems as i explain in technical matters and i do not say i am leaving half way through a game and i f i do leave i will let the other person win. But i have never left a game without a legitimate reason.

This has taken me a bit by surprise i must say, i haven't been around much this weekend, and it looks like some thing has come to a head. But I'm none the wiser as to why or who or when ?? It would be a real shame to see Murat leave us as it would any other committed and enthusiastic member. To be honest I'm never keen on things getting to competitive its not in my nature, some may see that as a weakness, and they may have a point. But even in competition surely enjoyment win or lose is what we all need to concentrate on. Really hope you can reconsider Murat, as G24 has said many a time, we all cant get on with each other, its just human nature, but that shouldn't be a reason to leave

That must be a universal rule: "Rating or ranking generate conflicts".
At the different chess clubs I play and have played I allways noted that.

You could well be right GP, this is most dis-appointing and if this kind of thing continues I will be pleased to hand the NBL over to the new club, for someone else to sort this kind of thing out - I have not the time or energy to try and resolve daft disputes that should be sorted out without people having to leave NBC in protest.

As Murat has now joined the KO clan and not bothered to reply to this topic, or my PM, he has now officialy left NBC.
I hope he has more luck there then here.
This is the result of petty arguements that get out of hand - they need to stop, now.

We are here to have fun. I havent played with Murat yet but he is a league member and played 15 battles so far which is real activity. It's a pity we faced a conflict among members.

"As Murat has now joined the KO clan and not bothered to reply to this topic, or my PM, he has now officialy left NBC." I just entered the forum and replied your message.
"I hope he has more luck there then here. " hope so.
"This is the result of petty arguements that get out of hand - they need to stop, now." What would you do if someone lies and your cic do nothing for that. If someone (that is me here) make some noise than that person hopefully will stop what he is doing cause he got no penalty for his actions. I will tell you the difference; everyone knows that man but i am the only one who talks. Now you can play with ease cause he wont repeat these.
NBC, i have no problem with any of you, you know that. I will be glad if i can join your games but that will be up to you.

Murat, you will still be very welcome in NBC games.
There was no penalty because an explanation was given (that you choose to ignore) that was such that I could take no action at that time. If the "offence" (if there was was one ?) had continued there would have been strong action. To leave after such a matter was over reaction, in my opinion.
You left NBC when there was no need to, but that's your decision, and of course it's respected, you should leave any organisations you are not happy with.
The matter is now closed, yet's not rake over old news.

Murat has contacted me by PM and re-quested to re-join NBC, which I have agreed to, on the understanding that IF any problems arise in future, they be discussed in private before any action is taken, welcome back Murat.
