Now that the elections are over, I should have more time to play a few lobby battles. I actually lost well last night, 1000 kills to Jakob's 1800 in a mass rout battle. First battle of mine in 3 months so I'm not too ashamed. I forgot I was defending, held my line in German Town and then did a grenadier charge in an attempt to break his center after routing his cavalry on the flanks. Was not epic, but oh well... was more fun than I recall

Good to be back... feel free to look over the SVK website, we have 3-4 new recruits including our fledgling Naval force's new officer, and would love to hear from NBC.

If the games DON'T crash, they are of (generally speaking) a higher standard than in the past. We see less and less of the "silly" mass blob games than we used to, with almost everyone now using GM on and the "charge" in a sensisble way, rather than all 20 units on top of each other - as was the fashion for a long time.

I will stop by now and then to check things out, but most of my time recently is taken up with my umpire duties for the wiki/cb games.
