Note for Moopere, I could not resist ONE last try with the howitzers, result after firing the whole battle, 45 kills, my 12 pdr (which fired for about two thirds that time, max) got 304 kills, about 7 times as many, for roughly the same cost, is any more evidence required that howitzer units are "faulty"....I think not, hehe.

That really was the last time I will use them.

I thought that battle lasts for 50 mins but it s just 32 Anyway, hard to resist against Gunner but exciting for me as usual.

Moopere, please ignor my post above, I made a mistake.....the Howitzer was destroyed by AnkLrd's Cav early on, it was the 12 pdr that fired the whole battle, so the figures quoted above are meaninless !.....Ops !.

It was an exciting battle for sure, the French Cav had me worried the whole way through but I did have enough Infnatry to guard my flanks with my new anti-cav defence, lines at angles to each other so if one was attacked the other was close enough to fire into the attacking Cavalry......my breakthrough came in the middle by a unit of charging militia, followed by some cav and other Infantry, I think that's only worked for me once before in the same way against an earlt battle with simpson, if I remember correctly.

Megafileupload is scandalously SLOW!

Great a CB replay to view i have really missed them
And if the stats are telling the truth it looks like a very close and very bloody affair

P.S. G24 have you tried the file sharing site Ank and i use, i have had no problems at all, with only at most a 10 sec waiting time and a nice big Download button on view.
