Here a very belated update, the last few months we have mainly been busy working and finishing Great Battles of the Middle Ages as that game is coming closer to a release, fine-tuned Commander Napoleon at War and have finished another game we been working on as a side project.

At the moment we have almost finished all our other obligations and side projects and we are shifting our focus totally on the LOWN project again.

The biggest task we have left is building a lot of battle maps, as that so important for a fun strategy/tactical game.

At the moment we have started building on the Tutorial campaigns and those will be quite fun, we really want to guide the novice players gradually into the world of Napoleonic warfare in a good but steady pace and show the way how you can best handle your soldiers on the field and all the basic tactics and the introduce you to our new User Interface.

Potentially this tutorial could also be used as a game demo, but that decision is for our publisher Slitherine to make if they really want or need a game demo.

I do not want to give an ETA as there are so many external factors that still can influence the definite release date, but late 2009 is our best bet at this moment.

...About the game we will guide you through the early campaigns and the game will cover most of the mayor campaigns and battles from the Napoleonic Wars like Marengo, Austerlitz, Jena-Auerstadt, Eylau, Wagram, Vimeiro, Borodino, Salamanca, Waterloo...So we try to cover the classical big campaigns like the ones In Prussia-Poland 1806-1807, The Spanish Peninsula, The disaster in Russia 1812....and also add some smaller, less well known or more exotic campaigns and battles.

I will not confirm or deny any specific battle, campaign or playable faction, for that reason I just posted here some things at random.

There will be plenty to choose from, we do our best to make it a very versatile and re-playable historic tactical combat PC game set during and covering, as best as we can, the Napoleonic Wars. We can never cover all, but we will have enough for you to battle with or against...

Hi guys,

Here another overdue report.

There is a lot going behind the scenes, at the moment we are working or co-working on six different games that cover a wide variety of platforms and periods of history.

This means our small team is really stretched to its limits, luckily we are in the full process of getting more manpower aboard.

Another problem we face is that games that are on our publishers release list are pushed back on their original release schedule. Some of these games we have worked on ourselves, but the downside is, it messes up our own time frame as well. The positive is, we get more time to finish other nice products.

There are at least three or four games coming out this year, very nice games indeed, so forgive us if we are not always around here as that means we are working hard on fun games.

We work for different game platforms, some small, some big, some in soul production, some in co-production.

But to lift a tip: two Napoleonic games, a WW2, a WW1, a Medieval and two Roman games. This will keep us busy for the next two years.

The biggest project for us, that comes out later this year on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, is Great Battles Medieval and some other games that follow quite fast.

So due to this crowded schedule work on LOWN is no priority at this point for us. We will take our time, LOWN is still our "pet project", but we have some other games to finish higher upon the release schedule first.

Aye, it is still there but with CA and HW there is plenty coming at the moment for you to amuse yourself.

We concentrate on our other games for the time being. A good Napoleonic game is a dream, but not something for the near future at this point. Not the right time and if we do it, we want to do it good.

CA at least will provide a nice NTW base, the best part of TW series was and always will be the strong modding community. I have no doubt there will be some really great NTW based modifications and improvements coming from the TW community, that will bring more pleasure than the original game. As it was with STW, MTW, RTW, MTW2 and ETW...

And HW looks like a real challenging Napoleonic game. I wish JMM all the best, he deserves a success after all those years.

I buy both for sure.

I hope to make some announcement later this year to show our new projects as we are very much alive and work on some really fun strategy games.
